Ted Bernstein Award
The Ted Bernstein Award honors outstanding graduate students in school psychology training programs across the state who exemplify the best qualities of a school psychologist and are committed to improving the lives of children and their families.
Gil Trachtman Leadership Award in School Psychology
The Gil Trachtman Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have made an impact by virtue of their broad and significant contributions to the welfare of children and the field of school psychology. Commitment to the profession and leadership activities include professional practice, research, program development, training and supervision, and community service. This award also acknowledges advocacy work at the state, regional and national levels.

Friend of Children Award
The Friend of Children Award is awarded by the current 猫咪社区Conference Committee in appreciation of a local individual or organization whose dedication and work supports the lives of children and their families.
Legislative Award
The 猫咪社区Legislative Award is awarded to individuals or groups who have worked to make systemic changes in policies that govern the provision of education and mental health services. This award also acknowledges advocacy work at the state, regional and national levels.

Ruth Steegmann Chapter School Psychologist of the Year
These awards recognize excellence in the provision of school psychological services. They are presented by local chapters to individuals who spend the majority of their time (75%) providing direct services to children and their families. Each local winner becomes the chapter nominee for the 猫咪社区Frank Plumeau School Psychologist of the Year Award. Contact your local chapter representative to nominate a school psychologist in your chapter for this award.

Frank Plumeau School Psychologist of the Year
Chapter SPOY winners will be automatically nominated for the state-wide 猫咪社区Frank Plumeau SPOY award. The individual should be a practicing school psychologist who spends at least 75% of his or her time in direct services to children, families and schools. Our local winner will be honored at a chapter meeting and will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony at the 猫咪社区annual conference. The statewide recipient of the Frank Plumeau School Psychologist of the Year Award will be selected from amongst the local winners and will be recognized at the annual conference.
猫咪社区Scholarships
Alfred and Mary Alfonso Scholarship
猫咪社区is proud to announce the Alfred and Mary Alfonso Scholarship Fund as a way to support the early career school psychologist. This scholarship, which was established by Dr. Vincent Alfonso in memory of his parents Alfred and Mary Alfonso, who believed in and supported the work of school psychologists. The scholarship will award a one-year membership to 猫咪社区in order to support early year school psychologists with resources, networking opportunities and mentorship. Up to two scholarships will be awarded each year.

Equity Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship
猫咪社区is proud to announce the Equity Diversity Inclusion Scholarship as a way to support the work of diverse school psychologists. This scholarship award recognizes a diverse school psychologist who has conducted exceptional work or research around equity, diversity and/or inclusion. Recipients of this scholarship may include any member of the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) community, have a linguistically diverse background, member of the LGBTQ+ community, have experienced a mental or physical disability, and/or a school psychologist of any other marginalized group.
